Lily McCollum

I am a second year theatre and American Sign Language major at Northeastern University. I am originally from Dallas TX, but I have worked in Denver and I now live in Boston as a student. As a theatre artist, I plan to devote my life to creating theatre for deaf and hearing audiences in innovative ways.
In this interview, I discuss my process in technical theatre, some of the work that I am most proud of, and why I love the work that I do.

Considering safety precautions with Covid-19, our first project for my senior directing class was to direct an audio play that encourages people to get out to vote. With my passion to make theatre more accessible to the Deaf and hard of hearing, I added descriptive subtitles.
