The Magic Lake was my high school's annual mime show. It was based on the Incan story about the magic lake. The costumes included eight animals, the sun and moon, the elements, the king and queen, their courtiers, basics for the ensemble, and it all had to stay true to the Peruvian setting. We had a little over two weeks to make all of that happen, and working collaboratively with my crew and diving head first into the production, we created something magical.
